Traffic lights back on after eight days of darkness at busy Glasgow junction
TRAFFIC lights in Glasgow's Gorbals are finally restored after more than a week.
As we have previously reported, the lights at the junction of Cathcart Road and Caledonia Road went dark on Wednesday, October 24.
Since then, cars have been navigating the roads without any guidance.
According to Glasgow City Council, the issue was a Scottish Power fault.
The lights are back on, but tomorrow, Scottish Power workers will return and fix another problem.
Road closures are to be expected in the area as an excavation will go underway.
