A Glasgow pizza restaurant will serve a limited edition gold leaf pizza this weekend in a cheeky swipe at internet sensation chef 'Salt Bae'.
Nonna Said in Merchant City's new menu option is inspired by the viral star, Nusret Gökçe, who recently opened a London restaurant serving gold leaf wrapped steak at eye-watering prices.

The special ‘Gold Digger’ pizza uses 23-carat edible gold leaves and a gold crust dust and is priced at just £6.30.
An absolute bargain compared to Salt Bae's £630 bill for a gold Tomahawk Steak.
Nonna Said opened earlier this year and has been delighting customers with their unconventional pizza and cocktail options since.
Announcing their limited edition pizza on Facebook they said "Who needs a £630 golden tomahawk when Nonna's got gold for less than a tenner.
"Our dope-a** limited Gold Digger is available for all you cool kids this Friday and Saturday.
"Decked out in the latest bling with 23-carat gold leaves and edible crust dust, we've got nothing to prove other than that our pizzas are golden."
