SINGER Amy Macdonald has revealed tickets for her upcoming gig at the OVO Hydro have sold out.

The Bishopbriggs songstress shared her surprise in Twitter after all tickets to her show at the 13,000 seat venue had been sold.

She said: "I can’t quite believe this. I dragged my heels for so long, scared to play the Hydro because I didn’t think I’d sell enough tickets! 13,000 people disagreed. Totally blown away by the support. Every single person who bought or tried to buy tickets-thank you for your continued support."

She will take to the stage next month and while she was shocked at selling out the venue - fans were not. One said: "Never be scared to scale to greater heights. You could of sold this many times over, I do believe. Never underestimate the power of the Mac Fans out there."

Another added: "If I didn’t still feel nervous about crowds, I’d be there. That’s just my issue though. So glad that despite these difficult times that you managed to sell out the freakin hydro That’s incredible, and I promise I’ll be there next time!"

McDonald played to huge crowds at TRNSMT in the summer.
