CLIMATE activists have blocked a major bridge in Glasgow this afternoon as mass protests get underway in the city.
Police have closed the King George V Bridge in Broomielaw to both pedestrians and vehicles due to the protest activity.
One social media post said campaigners from Scientist Rebellion are currently occupying the crossing.

Officers are in attendance at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "The King George V Bridge at the Broomielaw in Glasgow is currently closed to pedestrians and vehicles due to protest activity.
"Officers are engaging with the protestors."
