A WOMAN was reportedly "dragged down a lane" by a man in Glasgow city centre.
Police confirmed they received a report of an assault on Thursday afternoon, and that enquiries are ongoing.
The 23-year-old claimed she was dragged into a lane near George Street, but managed to fight the attacker off.

She got away and was found by a group of girls who helped her get a taxi home.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 2.25pm on Thursday, November 4, officers received a report of an assault on a 23-year-old woman that had taken place in George Street, Glasgow.
"Police enquiries are ongoing."
