A VITAL East End Post Office re-opened today after it closed suddenly earlier this year.
The Parkhead branch has moved from the Gallowgate to Tollcross Road as a temporary solution while Post Office bosses work towards a more permanent solution.
Those with mobility issues will be able to access the new branch which sports level entry and a hearing aid loop.

East End residents were stunned when they realised the much-needed branch closed in August.
We reported last month that hard-working staff at the nearby Duke Street branch agreed to take over the branch personally.
Angela Smith, Post Office Network Provision Lead, said: “We are delighted to have restored Post Office to Parkhead six days a week in time for the busy Christmas period. We know how important a Post Office is to a community.”
