TWO MEN will stand trial next year accused of seriously assaulting a man in prison.

Robert Daniel, 31, and Daniel Dunn, 26, allegedly attacked Graham Lennox at Glasgow's Barlinnie Prison on November 27, 2020.

Court papers state the pair punched Lennox on the head, repeatedly causing him to fall on the floor.

The charge states the two men then kicked and stamped on his head repeatedly.

It is stated his was to Lennox's injury and to the danger of his life.

Daniel and Dunn pleaded not guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to the single charge.

A trial has been fixed for next April by Sheriff Paul Crozier.
