THIS week's episode of Inside Central Station shows a Glasgow man getting down on one knee under the station's famous clock.

Viewers of the hit BBC Scotland series will see James Fennah ask his oblivious girlfriend Hannah Fairlie to marry him after the couple travelled to Glasgow following a trip to Manchester, with the TV camera's catching every second.

In the surprise proposal, James asks Hannah to look at the station's information board which had been altered to display the words "Hannah Jane Fairlie, Will You Marry Me?"

He then got down on one knee before pulling out the ring for a shocked Hannah who shakes her head in disbelief before saying "yes".

James worked with the show's producers to arrange the surprise, which included having members of Hannah's family watch the proposal from a secret room in the station.

Rosy Marshall-McCrae, executive producer of Inside Central Station, said: "As we see with each series, the Central Station foyer has been the scene of countless heartwarming moments over the years, but James' proposal has to be up there with one of the sweetest.

"When he told us what he was planning to do, we knew that it would make for an extremely special TV moment.

"I'm delighted that Inside Central Station viewers will get to join in the celebrations on Sunday night, and we wish James and Hannah every happiness in their married lives together!"
