POLICE in Glasgow helped two people in suspected overdose cases with Naloxone this week despite the six-month Police Scotland Naloxone trial period having ended.
On Wednesday, an officer attending COP26 helped someone who had been found unconscious by police.
There was a second incident that day where officers dealing with an unconscious person were approached by a member of the public who was carrying Naloxone and were able to administer it to casualty.
Both individuals regained consciousness and were provided with first aid.
The #PolScotNaloxone six month trial period has ended but our officers are still helping people in suspected overdone by administering Naloxone.
