BERTIE Auld, giant of Scottish football, sadly died this week, aged 83. The midfielder, who went on to manage Hibs and Partick Thistle, scored 85 goals in 283 appearances for Celtic, the most famous of which was the 1967 European Cup final win against Inter Milan in Lisbon.
