GLASGOW’S favourite festive carnival is on the hunt for five superfans to take on the role of ambassadors as the fun of the fair returns for 2021.

The IRN-BRU Carnival, which has been entertaining thrillseekers in the city for more than 100 years, had to take a break in 2020 when the SEC became NHS Louisa Jordan.

Glasgow Times: The IRN BRU carnival is back for 2021.

Now it is back, and hoping the country’s biggest carnival devotees will get on board.

The five superfans will gain free, unlimited access to Europe’s largest indoor funfair to capture pictures, videos and stories of their visits for the Carnival’s social media and their own personal channels.

They will be able to visit the event as many times as they like between December 22 and January 16, and go on whatever rides they want, subject to availability.

Greg Cherry, Managing Director of Carnival organisers QD Events, said: “Our ambassadors are an important part of our extended family. Anyone can do it, all we ask is that people have a genuine passion for the event and a love for sharing their stories. Email carnival@framecreates.co.uk for more information.
