TWO men have been arrested after a man was found seriously injured in Coatbridge in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to Sikeside Street at around 00.25am. The 60-year-old man was taken to Monklands Hospital and is currently in a critical condition.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 00.25am on Friday, 19 November, 2021, police were called to an address is Sikeside Street, Coatbridge, where a 60-year-old man was found seriously injured. He was taken by ambulance to Monklands District General Hospital where he remains for treatment. Medical staff describe his condition as critical.
"Two men, aged 24 and 55-years-old, have been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are continuing."
