A MAN has been arrested and two men have been taken to hospital following an alleged "disturbance" in Glasgow's East End.

Officers responded to a bar on Tollcross Road after the alarm was raised at around 9pm yesterday.

Two men were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for injuries. 

Police confirmed a 26-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident.

He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, November 22 in connection with the alleged incident.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At 9pm on Friday, November 19, 2021 officers were called to a disturbance within a bar on Tollcross Road, Glasgow.

"Officers attended and two men attended at Glasgow Royal Infirmary to be treated for injuries.

"One man, aged 26, has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday, November 22, 2021. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
