THE FRONT door of a property in Paisley was "deliberately" set on fire late last night. 

Police were called to a property on Ferguslie Walk at around 11pm. 

The force confirmed there were no injuries and officers are treating this "reckless act" as "deliberate".

Detective Constable Gary Bruce said: "Thankfully no-one was injured as a result of this reckless act.

"I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed anything suspicious, or who has information that may assist us to get in touch."
