She said: “The Aldi Supermarket Sweep was a great experience. I had such a great time, and I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity to help my local foodbank.”
Going above and beyond, Paula even managed to find three Scottish products for her trolley which means that Aldi has doubled the total value of her haul and donated the lump sum to her nominated foodbank, Rutherglen & Cambuslang Foodbank.

Kathleen Duncan, Secretary, Rutherglen & Cambuslang Foodbank, said: “We are so grateful to be chosen as the recipient of the generation donation.
This money will help our dedicated volunteers continue to supply food in the Rutherglen and Cambuslang area to those who need it most.
The money will also go towards purchasing duvets, blankets and fleeces which will help keep people warm in the coming cold months.”
