BROWN bins in Glasgow will NOT be collected for another 12 days, the council has revealed.
The bins containing garden and food waste have not been collected since binmen began striking over a pay rise dispute earlier this month, during COP26.
The council revealed yesterday that following the end of the industrial action, they will prioritise the collection of general waste.
Therefore, they announced that the brown bins will not be collected until December 7.
Alternatively, they suggest, people can place their food waste in their general waste bins.

The service is focusing on general waste collection following industrial action. Residents can place food waste in the general waste (green) bin for the time being.
You can also dispose of garden waste at our Easter Queenslie, Polmadie and Shieldhall Recycling Centres.
