TWENTY people have died of Covid-related causes in the past 24 hours, report shows.
2,932 new cases have also been registered across Scotland.
The data suggests the death toll of people who have tested positive for Covid in the 28 days before their deaths is now 9,524.
The daily test positivity rate was 7.2%, according to the same data, published by the Scottish Government on Thursday.
It was also reported that due to IT issues, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde were unable to report their hospital and ICU numbers, so figures from the previous day have been carried forward.

This comes after Nicola Sturgeon announced yesterday that the vaccine passport scheme will not be extended to cover more venues.
She urged people to regularly test themselves during the holidays.
