SINGER James Bay will play a show in Glasgow's Oran Mor next year in support of independent venue week.

The new songs, new stories solo tour will reach the West End venue on February 2.

Bay, 31, is best known for his biggest hits Hold Back the River and Let It Go which he released in 2014.

In 2016, he won the Best British Male Solo Artist at the Brit Awards. He was also nominated for Best New Artist, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song at the Grammy Awards that same year.

Tickets for the new show at the Byres Road/Great Western Road venue go on sale on Friday at 9am.
