CELTIC legends and fans have praised last night's "emotional and special" event at the OVO Hydro.

Thousands of supporters filled the Glasgow arena for an "unforgettable evening" of football memories with Henrik Larsson, Chris Sutton and John Hartson.

The event brought three of the greatest strikers in Celtic's history back together. Nearly 450 goals were scored between the trio in a trophy-laden era at Parkhead.

Chris Sutton praised the "unbelievable atmosphere", meanwhile, John Hartson, said it's a night that will stay with him "for a long, long time".

The 46-year-old said: "I must say what an incredible evening last night was...to see the lads together in front of that huge crowd was special, emotional, proud. It’s a night that will stay with me for a long, long time."

The trio looked back on their incredible career highlights and recalled their memories of winning Trebles and trophies.

Several other Celtic superstars, including Martin O'Neill and Stiliyan Petrov, also made an appearance. 

Fans enjoyed the night and took to social media to share their thoughts and thank the ex-players.

One said: "Amazing night. Honoured to be in the presence of such legends. Very emotional at the end."

Another added: "Absolutely superb last night, fantastic stories, what a team."
