Kevin Bridges fans claim they were frustrated at waiting in an online queue this morning for pre-sale access to his upcoming tour.

Ticket buyers joined a virtual queue on Ticketmaster at 10am but were frustrated at the website crashing and kicking them out of a queue of 20,000 people.

Many fans on Twitter complained that the website could not process their order, or that they had lost their place in the queue without leaving the webpage.

A Twitter user commented: "I joined the #KevinBridges presale today at 9:45, got to the end of the queue at around 10:15 and the website crashed.

"Refreshing didn't do anything and had to go back and it put me back to 20,000 in the queue. Upset - shouldn't it remember your session/IP?"

One user wrote: "Joined the queue before presale for Kevin Bridges waited 10 minutes in queue then when it gets me through to get tickets it says ‘something went wrong, lets start over’."

Another said: "Anyone else hate @Ticketmaster with a vengeance #KevinBridges @kevinbridges86 Aaaaargh! Sent back to the Q after an hour."

One disappointed fan said: "@TicketmasterUK any chance of sorting your queuing system. Got to the front of the queue for Kevin bridges twice now and not been able to purchase tickets."

A worried Glasgow fan wrote: "I have been in the queue for Kevin Bridges tickets at the SSE hydro, tried to proceed to delivery and received an error message four times, help please!"

One fan tweeted: "Five separate presale queues for Kevin Bridges and every single one kicked me off once I got through to the buying stage."

Comedy management team Off the Kerb addressed the demand for tickets and said they are working to secure more tickets for disappointed fans.

Funnyman Kevin re-tweeted the post and had his own response to the carnage.

He wrote: "Hearing it’s been a bit of a screen-puncher on the ticket sites this morning.

"Some extra tickets will be coming soon and then there’s the general sale on Friday.

"Very much appreciated and I’ll try my best to make sure everyone gets along for a laugh. Thank you!"

Touring The Overdue Catch-Up, the Scottish comedian will play six dates in Glasgow as well as numerous locations around the UK.

Tickets go on general sale on Friday.
