THE festive season is officially here in Glasgow with the launch of Cranside Winter Village in Finnieston. 

Promising to be the city's most instagrammable Christmas, the open-air courtyard has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland and was officially launched last night with Michelle McManus entertaining the crowd. 

Open until January 2, the winter village includes private igloos, which seat up to eight people, Kopparberg ski gondolas, which seat up to four people, and a stage where resident DJs play disco and club classics every Friday and Saturday.

They will also be joined by some of Glasgow's most well known Queens for a series of drag brunch events. 

Two festive-inspired food market stalls will offer hot drinks, hot dogs and donuts, while a choice of seven restaurants will offer some of the venue's most popular dishes on the Cranside app.  

With festive foliage, garlands, mini Christmas trees and fairy lights, the Winter Gardens provides a perfect outdoor seating area to enjoy a warm cider or festive cocktail.

If you're feeling chilly, you can wrap un up a warm blanket in the undercover Hygge Lounge featuring the Laphroaig Whisky cocktail bar.
