A POLICE search was carried out after reports of a man trying to lure a teenage car into his car.
The 16-year-old was heading home from work at around 10pm on Monday night when she was reportedly stopped by someone in a grey Corsa.
It has been claimed the stranger, who was parked near Cardonald train station, offered the teen money several times for her to get into his car and give him directions.

The teen's mum took to Facebook to warn others. Her post read: "My daughter is 16. We live in the Cardonald area and she was coming from work tonight passing by Cardonald train station.
"A car was parked in the path, the man put his window down when my daughter was passing and asked her the way to Penilee. She tried to give him directions then he asked her where she was coming from and does she stay in the area.
"He then offered her £20 to get in his car for her to show him where Penilee was. She said no and he offered £40. She said no and he offered £60 then £100. At this point my daughter was extremely uncomfortable, it was pitch black outside.
"He told her how sexy she looked and she started to walk away in a panic. She was on the phone with her friend and she then called me.
"It was a grey Corsa and the man was wearing one of the bright yellow work jackets."
