Brother of 'murdered' Amber Gibson charged in connection with her death
THE teenage older brother of 'murdered' Amber Gibson has been charged in connection with her death.
Connor Gibson, also known as Niven, has been arrested and charged.
The 19-year-old is expected to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday.
Amber went missing in Hamilton on Friday night and her body was found in Cadzow Glen on Sunday morning shortly after 10am.
A statement from Police Scotland said: "Police Scotland can confirm that the 19-year-old man who had been arrested last night, Wednesday, 1 December 2021, has now been charged.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
"He is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Friday, 3 December 2021."
