SPANISH clothing retailer Mango has made moves to take over a unit in Glasgow Fort in the city's Easterhouse.

A planning application has been submitted to Glasgow city council for them to display their sign at the unit on 370 Provan Walk.

It was previously occupied by Sports Direct.

A decision is expected on the planning application by January 28.

The last date for comments is December 13.

Mango was founded in Barcelona by brothers Isak Andic and Nahman Andic.

In Glasgow, there is a store in the Buchanan Galleries.
