TWO teenagers have been arrested after a man was allegedly "stabbed" in Glasgow yesterday.

Officers were called to Ingram Street in the city centre after the alarm was raised at around 3.30pm. 

A 21-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where remains with "serious injuries".

Police Scotland confirmed two 17-year-old boys have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident and will appear in court at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to a report of a man being stabbed on Ingram Street around 3.30pm on Saturday, December 4, 2021.

"A 21-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, where he remains with serious injuries.

"Two 17-year-old males have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, and will appear in court at a later date.

"The investigation is continuing."
