Legendary 70s rock band Dr. Hook starring Dennis Locorriere have announced two shows at Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Bandstand next summer.
They will perform in Kelvingrove Park on June 24 and 25.
The announcement marks the band’s return to the stage, following the first leg of their 50th Anniversary World Tour, featuring sold-out shows in Motherwell, Kilmarnock and Glasgow, including shows at Kelvingrove Bandstand in October.

In a video message to the band’s loyal Scottish following, Locorriere said: “A couple of months ago we played Kelvingrove Bandstand in Glasgow, and even though it was October and pretty chilly, we all had a great time!
“But before we had even left Scotland, people were contacting the band and asking when we were coming back.
“I can tell you now that on June 24th and 25th, 2022 we'll be back for another party, only this time it'll be a summer party, and we won't have to wear our coats and hats.
“If we can have a great time in October folks, then we can have a blast in June.”
