TODAY is day two of people over 30 being invited to get their Covid booster shots as long queues form outside vaccination centres and people report 'no upcoming appointments'. 

As we told you in a special report, over 30s in line yesterday reportedly had to wait two hours at Glasgow Central Mosque to get the jab.

The first day of the booster shot distribution to this age group left many dissatisfied.

This morning, long queues formed across the city once again, as people waited to receive their booster.

At Partick Burgh Hall, many were stood in the cold rain with umbrellas, waiting for their appointments.

People have taken to social media to complain about their experiences with the systemonline booking sysytem as well.

One user sent a screenshot proving that their area had 'no upcoming appointments'.

People are also using Twitter to give advice to other who are looking to take the vaccination.

Sonia Tinagli said: "If you're heading to the mosque in Glasgow, be prepared for a long queue outside - wrap up warm! I think it was 90 mins from arriving to leaving."
