Inspector Shirley Carr said: “David is known to frequent the Giffnock area and Glasgow City Centre.

“It is extremely unusual for him not to keep in regular contact with his family and friends and he was reported missing yesterday after they became concerned when they could not get a hold of him and had not seen him for a few days.

“Officers are currently carrying out enquiries to trace him as soon as possible to ensure that he is safe and well.”

Anyone who has seen David, or who has any information on his whereabouts should contact officers through 101 quoting reference 1285 of December 14.”
