A MAN has been rushed to hospital after he was struck by a car in the north of Glasgow.
Officers responded to the scene on Springburn Road after the alarm was raised at around 7.30pm yesterday.
Police confirmed the man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
The road re-opened to traffic at around 8.40pm.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of a male pedestrian having been struck by a car on Springburn Road, Glasgow, around 7.30pm on Friday, December 17, 2021.
"The pedestrian was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary Hospital for treatment and enquiries are ongoing.
"The road re-opened around 8.40pm."
