TWO police officers have been taken to hospital after a crash on a busy motorway near Glasgow this morning.
Cops responded to the scene on the M74 southbound near junction 2 following reports of a road crash at around 10.20am.
The force confirmed the car involved in the crash was a police vehicle.

Two officers were taken to hospital to be checked over.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 10.20am on Wednesday, December 29, officers were called to a road crash on the southbound M74 near J2.
"The car involved was a police vehicle and the two officers were taken to hospital to be checked over."
