A MAN has been injured after he was struck by a falling tree in Glasgow.
Emergency services responded to the scene on Barrhead Road near to Boydstone Road in the city after the alarm was raised at around 1.30pm today.

Officers confirmed that the man is being treated by paramedics at the scene.

The road is currently closed to traffic.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers received report of a man having been injured after being struck by a fallen tree on Barrhead Road near to Boydstone Road in Glasgow around 1.30pm on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
"The man is being treated by paramedics at the scene and the road is currently closed."
