A LOCAL Arnold Clark store has confirmed its closure.
The motor dealership's Glasgow Vauxhall South site on Pollokshaws Road, in the city's Southside, has been bought over by a housing development company.
New homes will be built in the area.
Arnold Clark says their services and employees have been relocated to a nearby branch.
An email sent to customers reads: "Firstly, we would like to thank you for your custom over the years. As a valued customer, we're getting in touch to make you aware of our decision to close this branch.
"A local development company has purchased our facility to include it in a new housing development in the area.
"No need to worry though, our services and employees at this branch have now relocated to a nearby Arnold Clark Vauxhall branch."
