The charity has launched a nationwide campaign today which will include adverts in newspapers, on the radio, on buses and street hubs across Scotland, urging people to contact their money advice service. 

Specialist debt advisors can work with people to look at their current financial situation, their income and outgoings and make a plan for those owing money.

It comes amid growing concerns about the rising cost of living with an inflation rise and steep energy price hikes coming in the next few months.
