COMEDIAN Janey Godley has taken to social media to update fans on her recovery following her operation.
The Glasgow star was diagnosed with ovarian cancer late last year and had a full hysterectomy last week.
Following the procedure, her daughter Ashley Storrie updated fans as the comedian rested.

But today, she shared a picture on Twitter with the message: "Well, I am on the mend - slowly and steady like an old creaky boat on shallow waters."

In the picture, she is smiling in her hospital gown, free of her breathing tube.
Fans in the comments were quick to wish the star a speedy recovery and point out that she looks well.
