A MAN was rushed to hospital after a one-vehilcle crash on the A8 today.
The incident happened around 4.30pm this afternoon on the A8 at Rhindhouse Road in Ballieston.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the driver was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 4.30pm on Monday, 10 January, officers were called to a report of a road crash involving one vehicle on the A8 at Rhindhouse Road in Ballieston.
"Officers attended and the driver has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary."
Traffic Scotland warned motorists in the area that the A8 is closed Westbound between Swinton and Baillieston Roundabout.

Due to delays in the area, they urge drivers to be careful.
