A MAN has been rushed to hospital following a 'disturbance' in a property near Glasgow.
Cops were called to Park Road in the Calderbank area of Airdrie at around 9am this morning.
The 62-year-old was found injured and taken to Monklands Hospital to receive treatment.
A 55-year-old woman has been arrested following the incident and officers are continuing their enqiuries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance within a property on Park Road in the Calderbank area of Airdrie around 9.05am on Tuesday, January 11.
“A 62-year-old man has been taken to Monklands Hospital for treatment to injuries sustained during the alleged incident.
“A 55-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident and enquiries are ongoing.”
