COPS say they are closing in on those responsible for TikTok videos in which a Glasgow gang have reportedly been boasting about stealing cars.
Police confirmed that an investigation is currently ongoing into the alleged crimes and that the force is following a positive line of enquiry.
It comes after clips posted on video app TikTok appear to show the gang stealing cars and bikes, and taunting police.
The group are comparing themselves to fictional thieves from the Home Alone films by going by the name of "sticky bandits".
'Harry n marv' also appears on the account.
The fictional pair are the robbers who are continually defeated by Kevin McCallister in the popular comedy films.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are aware of these videos posted online and enquiries are ongoing into these crimes with officers following a positive line of enquiry."
