Baker's mother granted officers access where they seized a rose gold iPhone which Baker stated belonged to him.

He provided the PIN and the phone was checked over by the Cybercrime unit.

Prosecutor Jenny Reid said: "One category A and one category B moving images were found within.

"The images had been put on the phone on December 27, 2018.

"The indecent images depict female children between the ages of four and five."

Baker was arrested and taken to a police station.

His reply to caution and charge was: "What is the potential jail term for this? I am innocent."

The first offender pleaded guilty to possessing indecent photographs of children.

Nicholas Nimmo, defending, will make his plea in mitigation at next month's sentencing.

Baker was bailed and put on the sex offenders register meantime by sheriff Daniel Kelly.
