EMERGENCY crews rushed to the aid of a woman who had trespassed a Glasgow train station today. 

Officers attended Crossmyloof station in Glasgow's Southside in concern for her welfare. 

Scotrail tweeted that services were dealing with a trespasser, and that she had been removed to a place of safety.

Services to and from Glasgow were disrupted, but returned to normal after about 30 minutes.  

A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to Crossmyloof station at 11.53 am today, January 14, following concerns for the welfare of a woman.

"Officers attended, and the woman was taken to a place of safety."
