A BRAZEN thief strolled into student halls in the city centre last night and snatched a student's purse.
Police were called to the Glasgow School of Art accommodation on Buccleuch Street at 7.40pm.
Inquiries remain ongoing while the suspect has not yet been traced.

A source said: "There was a man that just walked right into the accommodation and back out again.
"We think a student's purse was lying out and he grabbed it and took it with him on his way out."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Inquiries are continuing following the theft of a purse from student accommodation on Buccleuch Street, Glasgow.
"The incident was reported to police around 7.40 pm on Thursday, January 13."
