A MAN has died after being struck by a train in Glasgow.
Emergency crews rushed to Hyndland station last night shortly after 11pm after he had been hit on the line between Hyndland and Anniesland.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
ScotRail had tweeted that no trains between Partick and Anniesland, nor between Partick and Jordanhill were running after the incident.
Officers are continuing enquiries to establish what happened.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Hyndland station at 11.24pm yesterday (January 16) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended, and sadly a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are currently working to establish the full circumstances behind their death."
