POLICE spent around four hours near a Paisley primary school after receiving a disturbance and concern for person call. 

Police received the call around 12.15pm today for the incident on Morar Drive. 

It concluded around 4.30pm. 

No one was injured and enquiries are ongoing to establish what happened.

It is understood the disturbance took place at the Flexible Learning Centre beside Brediland Primary School. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.15pm on Tuesday, January 18, police received a disturbance and concern for person call in Morar Drive, Paisley.

"Officers attended and the incident concluded at around 4.30pm.

"No-one was injured and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
