A well-loved Glasgow priest who died earlier this month will be buried this week.
The funeral arrangements for Father James Doherty were released by the Archdiocese of Glasgow.
In a statement on social media, they confirmed that the reception of remains and vigil will take place at 7pm on Friday, January 21 at Saint Aloysius’ Church in Garnethill.

The funeral mass will be held at 11.30am on Saturday, January 22, at the same church.
Father Jim will be buried after at Dalbeth Cemetery.
The priest passed away on January 8 in the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
He was ordained in 1979 and served in Saint Peter's, Partick; Saint Laurence's, Drumchapel; Our Lady and St Mark's, Alexandria; St Bellarmine, Pollok, and Saint Vincent de Paul in Thornliebank.
