A MAN is due in court in connection with a number of alleged housebreakings in North Glasgow.
A 42-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incidents in the Springburn area the force confirmed today.
It comes after the Glasgow Times revealed that a number of commercial properties were allegedly broken into on Springburn Way last week.
Atwal's Fish and Chicken Shop, Springburn Cafe and A Wier Butchers were targeted within days of each other.
Police said their investigations led to the arrest.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers have been investigating a number of housebreakings in the Springburn area in Glasgow.
"Enquiries have resulted in 42-year-old man being arrested and charged in connection with the incidents.
"The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, January 21."
