What kind of dog is Scooby doo?

The question which stumped the Cartoon expert was what kind of dog is the cartoon canine Scooby-Doo?

When faced with the choices between Great Dane, German Shepherd, Irish Wolfhound and Afghan Hound.

While the former Strictly Come Dancing panellist admitted that she wasn't sure, Love convinced the contestant that she 'had their back' and to opt for German Shepherd.

The correct answer is Great Dane - as many viewers took to Twitter to exclaim.

One fan said:"I'm happy to lock in German Shepherd if you've got me" Judi Love: I got you Does Judi now owe him £10k?"

While another user added:"FFS Scooby-Doo is a Great Dane, every half wit knows that!…."
