A MAN has been deliberately hit by a car in what cops are treating as attempted murder.
The 57-year-old was targeted by a dark saloon car at around 11pm last night.
He was hit in Doune Terrace, near to the roundabout at the junction with Lomond Road in Coatbridge.

Officers believe that two or three men were in the car and fled in the direction of Lomond Road.
Detective Inspector Gordon Sneddon, of Coatbridge CID, said: “This was a deliberate act that has caused serious injuries to a man who happened to be in the street at the time.
