PLANS have been approved to turn an empty warehouse into a base for six delivery outlets.
The unit at 97 Kingston Street in Tradeston will be transformed after Glasgow City Council approved planning permission.
Applicant FA Property Company LTD asked to use the space as a "catering kitchen facility".
Floor plans show six small kitchen units which will be available to rent as well as toilets, and a delivery driver reception/pick up area.
The applicant states that each kitchen will be rented out by a separate company with the purpose of preparing food on a delivery-only basis. No food will be served on the premises.
They added: "Food is picked up by delivery drivers, who will have dedicated parking bays and waiting rooms inside.
"Each kitchen unit will be left with the minimum equipment, to be equipped and connected by the tenant."
Orders will taken online, by app, or over the phone.
Operating hours will be 12pm-12am seven days a week.
Planning officials granted the plans with conditions, including that details of refuse and recycling storage areas and bins shall be submitted and approved before any work on the site begins.
