SAM Fender has revealed that he "went on the razz" with Paisley crooner Paolo Nutini at TRNSMT in September.

The Geordie singer will be speaking to Callum McGregor on Clyde 1 later today. Fender said said the last time he played the festival was "class". He added: "I went on the razz with Paolo Nutini after.

"It was wicked. He was just giving us piggy back rides everywhere, it was really funny."

Fender then did a hilarious impression of Nutini that won't disappoint fans. Fender said: "He just turned up after it and said: Here I've got you a present, a wee bottle of whisky. You've got to have this man it's going to be great.

"It was just absolutely class, it was hilarious. The next thing you know I was riding Paolo Nutini around the festival."

Fender and Nutini are both set to play TRNSMT again this year, where they hope to be reunited, to which Fender joked: "Aye, I'll ride Paolo Nutini onto the stage."

TRNSMT will take place from July 8 to 10.
