A TWO-YEAR-OLD was hospitalised after a vehicle hit a pram on Great Western Road this morning.
The incident happened just after 8am today.
Emergency services, including police and ambulance, rushed to the scene and the child was taken to the hospital.
Police Scotland closed the street for around three hours but it has since reopened.
Nobody else was injured in the collision and enquiries are ongoing.
Pictures from the scene of the crash showed an abandoned pram as police officers locked down the road.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A two-year-old boy has been taken to the Royal Hospital for Children after the pram he was in was in collision with a Volkswagen Golf in Great Western Road, near to Lincoln Avenue, around 8.10 am this morning, Thursday, 27 January 2022.
"According to medical staff the child did not sustain any serious injuries. No-one else was injured.
"The road was closed for around three hours and enquiries are ongoing."
