An experimental home chef has found internet fame after taking fusion cooking to a whole new level on TikTok.

Shaun Keaney, from Parkhead, took to the app to film himself creating a ‘Scottish Breakfast Spring Roll’ complete with black pudding, square sausage, bacon and potato scones all wrapped in a spring roll pastry.

The 28-year-old self-employed joiner took matters into his own hands and decided to craft the visionary snack himself after failing to convince his local takeaways to give it a go.

Determined to make his greasy dreams a reality, Shaun ventured all the way to the House of Sher in the city’s Southside where he met fellow TikTok star, Myles Omar.

Shaun told the Daily Record: “When I went to get the spring roll wraps I met Myles, as I've had a few back and forths with him on his live videos, he's an absolute gentleman and told me how to prep them.

"He seemed buzzing for me about the idea. Very supportive guy."

Shaun appears in the video sounding shocked by the success of his own creation describing it as “absolutely amazing"

Encouraged by the response to his how-to video he says this isn’t the last we’ll see of his culinary exploits.

He said “Later this week I'll be doing Wagyu and bacon cheeseburger spring rolls and a side of Mac and cheese spring rolls.

"I'm not much of a cook but really enjoyed making these."
